Illustrated History of Florida Paper Money

This out of print book is the most complete and most profusely illustrated book on Florida currency.  It covers ALL currency issued by the Territory of Florida, State of Florida, colonial, territorial and state era banks, railroads, merchants and local governments and National Bank Notes from early in the 20th century.  Prices (as of 1980) and detailed descriptions are also included for all notes.  This is also an excellent reference work, with histories of the various issuers of currency.  We use the Cassidy numbering system to identify the notes (except State issues) that we offer for sale at FloridaMint.com.

Florida Obsolete Notes and Scrip

Confederate and Southern States Currency

This out of print book is a standard reference of Confederate States of America currency and also a comprehensive guide to all currency issued by the Southern States, including Florida.  This book is of particular importance because it uses the Criswell numbering system to identify state notes, and that is the standard numbering system utilized today (including by FloridaMint.com).
